Commissioned design for the Coach’s C118 sneaker by Mindflyer.
This is Coach’s first ever collaboration collection with a Singaporean artist. To celebrate the event - there was a star studded event held at the Marina Bay Sands Coach store on 4th October.
Mindflyer’s take on the Statue of Liberty
The concept of the shoe was based an earlier emblem design depicting the modern woman with her exciting life spanned across 2 ultra modern cities ( NYC and Singapore). She is always the “queen” of her “castle” amidst all the hustle and bustle.
It has since been extended to be a unisex design featuring a modernised/ stylised Libertas ( the Roman liberty goddess ) as the central motif holding togethering an exciting meshup of elements depicting the 2 cities with a surrealistic whimsical twist
Here you can see the alternative design of a male Libertas character embossed in a pearl finish on a Coach Leather tag.
These were 2 bags painted for Kiko Mizuhara (@i_am_kiko) and Yuka Mizuhara (@ashley_yuka).
